Installed a new Brother 2 sided printer (MFC-L2713DW) which faithfully prints both sides when instructed from MS word documents but there is no option given to print both sides from the Sibelius print box-not under advanced options either.
My version is sib 6.2.1. The option appeared with my previous HP printer and with a small HP photosmart printer and worked OK.
If any other user has a remedy for this (saves paper!)much appreciated

If you keep sibelius set to single sided but set the printer's own options to double sided what happens?

Thanks Mike; that didn't work but I solved the problem by downloading updates to this new printer and I guess some drivers were installed which completely changed the set up of the Sib printer box which now had (under advanced properties) an option for double sided printing.
