Here it is, in all it's rearranged splendour. Laurence originally commented when he visited last year on the slightly boring fullness of the scoring, but "me thinks differently". I thought that as it`s originally a piano piece, then a consistent and fullish scoring, (as there are not many instruments being used), to copy (yes, copy) the robust sound of the piano piece during this period of Early American light jazz to be appropriate.
I wanted to upload the score itself but - here we go again - I can`t find how to make a pdf, even tho` the Sib. options do include making pdf`s.
Hope you enjoy yet another alternative to yesteryear`s popular light music classics published by Mills. On my copy it`s difficult to see whether the year is 1924 or 1934. (Any offers?)
One way of making PDFs is to download a free program like CutePDF.
Download it and install it. When you go to Print in any program - not only Sibelius - you should find that among your printer options is one that says "Cute PDF Writer". If you click on that, you will be presented with options as to where you wish the PDF file to be saved.
It's really very simple.

Chris Crawley (composer and horn-player) using Dorico 2.2.10.1256, Sibelius 7.1.3, NotePerformer 3.2, Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7, 3.30GHz, 64GB RAM, DacMagic 100
You then get various options - just score -just parts - selection of parts - all one file -separate files.

Roy,
I have been trying this as per Sib, but it "don`t" seem to work. I`m setting the option to `Score`, but no, and I can`t fathom why it won`t produce. Please remind me where should I save it to - I`ve tried saving to the same destination as the parts, but no luck. Tried saving to the desktop but again, no luck.
Chris,
Thanks, I may have to try this way again - Cute. Used to several years ago. Why isn`t my Sib coughing up?
If you are viewing your folder from Sibelius the pdf files won’t show unless you select “All files”
Or look in the folder outside Sibelius.
You have to open the pdf file outside Sibelius

Did you intend to attach something to the first message in this thread, Tony?
I save Exported PDFs to the desktop, because I usually have no need to store them permanently - I've made them to send to someone and once sent they can be discarded. I can always Export again. Your requirememts could well differ.
Laurence, I fully have to admit that I have not perused this pref/saving page you show me, at all, at all (sic). I am indeed lacking in my knowledge of all aspects of Sibelius. I have come unstuck before when making pdfs, and audio. Even sending Sibelius files has caused me trouble at times.
Perhaps I should have stuck to that college in Warrington all those many moons ago. But then even the teachers wouldn`t have known what to advise in 1958 ;)

I repeat, Tony, were you trying to share something with us? Nothing came through.
You can only attach sib, png and jpg files here. But if you want to share a pdf, or an mp3 audio file, send it to me personally if you like. I can make it accessible.
Adrian, yes-too much wine. Laurence, Sorry for not replying, but my `puter is still all over the place again. And now I`m now recovering after yesterdays epics out at lunch - yes it`s Adrian`s problem of sinking too many pints of "heavy" - (computer still to be sorted).
Its resolution (size) of all characters and folders much enlarged and the usual method of reducing their size so that they all fit on the screen as per "normal", is beyond me (not the easy way to do this). I may have to get someone to take a look.
Meanwhile, I`ll make an effort again to send Sib file (this time)of Zez Confrey`s opus to the site.
Well bugger me, I`ve just opened Sibelius 8 and only got as far as the mss papers and noticed all this is distorted and enlarged enough for the "Open other" to not show at the bottom LHS of the screen at all. So I can`t get to any music scores at all.
Must go, there`s a couple of heavy trucks speeding outside. I mustn`t miss this opportunity of throwing myself underneath one of them.
Bye.
I was saved by my own fiddling. For the mo. I`m now back to normal - he says.
Here`s my final attempts to get Zez Confrey to you. :)
PLEASE DON`T STEAL IT - I`M NOT SURE IF THERE IS STILL A RIGHT`S ISSUE: IF THERE ISN`T - AND I HAVEN`T BEEN ABLE TO DISCOVER THIS YET, THEN I WOULD LIKE TO EVENTUALLY SELL IT - FOR $1.00 !!!!!
Meanwhile, do download it if you wish, for your own use, or please bin it otherwise.
Best,
Tony W
I think I may have lost another post to this site, but no matter. Yes Laurence, I don`t think I can sell it whilst I`ve only just put questions to three possible publishers who are involved.
Your brother can surely have a complimentary copy as long as he doesn`t photocopy it for anybody else - let me know and I`ll send off pdfs - no charge. Pavlova certainly seem to be very active.
Have you tidied the parts yet? If so, perhaps all you need to do is give me permission to run off a set of PDFs for him. Or you can contact him directly on simon.payne@virgin.net
I just called him. 'How exciting!' was the response.
I`M NOT SURE IF THERE IS STILL A RIGHT`S ISSUE: ===========================================
Maybe your cat holds the copyright. Maybe you can do a deal. You sell the arrangement for a buck. You give the cat a quarter, or the equivalent in kitty chow.
"I`M NOT SURE IF THERE IS STILL A RIGHT`S ISSUE":
===========================================
Dear Mr Drover,
This is to inform you that we no longer keep cats. Or kittens. Nor have we any plans to buy or sell anything for `1 buck`. We also do not wish to associate with anyone who uses a "quarter" or "kitty chow" as illegal currencies.
We must herewith offer this warning that if we detect irregularities, we shall board the next British Rail hi-speed passenger train service with first-class overnight accommodation, where we shall duet our liquorice stick and collatura tonal abundances at abundant volumes outside your study window, whereforalsoto demanding accommodation and sustenance for two to three days where we shall then depart, hoping you will not enter into any further mishappenings with domestic animals.
Dated 16th February 2019.
Must take our leave now to purchase some tins of Kittycat to throw at Scotland.
