Hello,

I've seen lots of threads describing how to get huge time signatures and center them on the staves etc. but a few of these concepts seem to not be working for me.

1. The "Opus Big Time Signature" font seems to be missing from the list available (Appearance>House Style>Engraving Rules>Time Signatures>Huge Time Signatures>Edit Text Style>Font). Is it becaues I am using the free trial of Ultimate? Is there some place to download said font? Or is that not available in Ultimate (those posts were from 7.5 versions so maybe it was taken out?)

2. How can I control where the Time Signature goes relative the the barline? All I can find are horizontal positions relative to notes. As you can see in my attached screenshot, the time signatures are blotting out the barlinees which I find looks messy and unpleasant.

3. The reference says I can define over which staves the time signatures appear, but it doesn't specify /where/ I can do that. Can someone please point out exactly which setting controls this?

For #3. Try Appearance/SystemObjectPositions.
For #2. Try Appearance/Design&Postition.

Sorry, but for #2 the only option I can find there is "horizontal position relative to note" which doesn't seem to do anything at all. I tried changing it to extremes like 100 or -100 and saw no difference at all.

Your suggestion for #3 worked perfectly though, thank you!

The best positions for large time sigs are between instrumental sections where there is no barline, for instance between bassoon & horn in your attachment.
