I am transcribing a Steely Dan song with a Purdie shuffle feel, so I'm writing it in 12/8. I first used a Metronome marking with the dotted 1/4 note at 128, and the Click was perfect (every 4 beats). Then, at some point, it randomly changed to clicking every 1/4 note (6 times per measure) and I can not for the life of me figure out how to change it back. I've deleted and re-input the Metronome mark several times, but it insists on Clicking 6 times per measure: a) why is this happening, and b) how do I change it back? I am working on a Mac OS version 10.12.8.

Any suggestions?

The Time Signature has gone missing. Put a 12/8 one at the front of the score, you should get what you want.

Note also the 'Subdivide beats' in the Mixer. You can have 12 clicks per bar if you like! See attached screenshot.
