In respect of the previous steps requested, could you say what filenames you discovered for the installed VSTs and AUs?
Please supply further diagnostic information as follows:
- do not use Search or Spotlight at any stage;
- ensure that Sibelius is fully quit: if unsure, restart the macOS;
- using your web-bowser, prepare a follow-up post in this thread, and be ready to add to it below;
- in the macOS Finder, hold down the Option key while pulling down the "Go" menu, and select "Library" (to open the User Library);
- in the User Library folder, open sub-folder "Application Support";
- in "Application Support", open sub-folder "Avid";
- in "Avid", open sub-folder "Sibelius";
- in "Sibelius", open sub-folder "PlogueEngine";
- from the PlogueEngine folder, open the file "au_x64.cache" into application "TextEdit", then in TextEdit, Select All (Command-a), Copy (Command-C), then, in your web-browser open at your follow-up post, click to give focus, then Paste (Command-v) the entire contents of that file into your next post;
- from the PlogueEngine folder, open the file "vstfilelist_x64.cache" into application TextEdit, and repeat the procedure given above to copy the entire contents of the file into your next post;
- from the PlogueEngine folder, open the file "PlogueEngine_x64.log" into application TextEdit, and repeat the procedure above to copy the entire contents of the file (which will be large) into your next post.
- if any of the files "au_filter_x64.cache" or "vst_filter_x64.cache" are of non-zero length, then use the above procedure to copy their contents into your next post as well.
