What Dolet file is needed for Sibelius 6.2, which I just downloaded and installed?

Does the same Dolet version work for Sibelius 7 and 8?

The same Dolet plugin works for Sib 6 and greater.

Does anyone know if the Dolet plugin tends to produce a more accurate XML as compared to one exporting an XML directly from Sibelius 7 (or 8 or 2018)?

It is different. It is limited by what is available to plugins. But Michael Good, the designer of MusicXML, wrote it, so he likely drew as much out of ManuScript as possible. I have often exported file by both methods and chose the better output.

The Sibelius Export certainly has the potential to do more than a plugin could but as of now neither is clearly better.

I seem to remember the dolet plug in used to to be very, very sloooow with larger scores!

Dolet runs even faster if you exempt Sibelius from any anti-virus utility.
