I can't alter note lengths.
Making the whole page one system squashes everything close together and I can't justify the system. Help please

Hi there

Not exactly sure if this is what you need:

• select a handle at the end of bar 1 (a few pixels beyond any one of the staves). If you can't find these invisible handles, turn on View>Invisibles>Handles.

• choose Reset Position (shift-alt-P; similar on Win).

This will allow the top system (which is artificially shortened on the right hand side) to return to normal – stretched to the margin. Once done, the bars in the second system will have enough space to appear on the first system

If this isn't what you need, ask again!

With the handle selected this is what happens when I hit shift-alt-P ?!

On Windows, "Reset Position" has keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Shift-P.
