No Sound in Sibelius Ultimate

Hello everybody,

Can someone tell me what happened. Since I upgraded from Sibelius 7 to Sibelius Ultimate I don't have any sound anymore. I use the Sibelius 7 Sounds and have audio-out via the Built-in Line Out of my Mac (see attachment).
Sibelius 7 files as new created projects in Sibelius Ultimate have the same problem. Apparently, I cannot open anymore Sibelius 7 since I upgraded (by annual subscription) to Sibelius Ultimate. So, I am sticked and I have deadlines....

I recently upgraded to Sibelius Ultimate on my Mac. (OS X El Capitan. 10.11.3). In audio engine options, my interface shows “Built-in Output (CoreAudio)”. Everything else is the same as yours, except for latency which is 25.62. (See attachment).
Have you tried clicking the up/down arrows next to interface, and choosing another device?
Sorry if this isn't much help, but it's the best I can do.

Both Jons and daveje:

1. Please click the "Repair" button in "Audio Engine Options", then quit and re-launch Sibelius. Repeat this until the "Repair" button becomes greyed out.

2. Pull down the Apple Menu and select "Restart". Try Sibelius again after the macOS has restarted. Make sure that you do not launch any DAW or other audio application such as GarageBand.

3. Try selecting a different Interface in Audio Engine OPtions, then click OK to close Audio Engine Options, then re-open Audio Engine Options and re-select the Interface that you want to use.

Thanks for your reply, Robin, but my setup is working perfectly. I've never had any problems with Sibelius Ultimate regarding sound. Everything is functioning as it should.

No Sound Ouputs in Play window. Mixer working fine. Can't find a way to re-instantiate the OUTPUTS in Sibelius. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything Sibelioid. Screenshot attached.

No SIBELIUS PLAY outputs appear and therefore there is no sound from any Sibelius sounds. I notice that Kontakt 2 is not usable, nor is the Sibelius Sounds Updater usable for Mac 10.15.X. I need those sounds working as I am a music teacher. Please advise ASAP.

Your screen-shots shows nothing amiss. What exactly is the problem? What is meant by "No SIBELIUS PLAY outputs appear"? What are you expecting to appear, and where?

What version number of Sibelius is this?

Kontakt 2 is not compatible with macOS Catalina, and will never work again.

Maybe you need to understand that you can't edit the built-in configurations. You have to create a new config for each combination of libraries you wish to use. As Robin says, Catalina will not work with 32 bit applications like Kontakt 2.
