Retrograde error in partial bars in Sibelius 2018.4

It seems that the Retrograde function isn't working correctly if partial bars are selected.

e.g. I have selected beats 3 and 4, then select the Retrograde function. It then retrogrades beats 3 and 4 but wipes out beats 1 and 2.

Has anyone else found this?

I confirm that this happens. If you select any part of the bar and run the plugin, anything not selected in the bar is erased.

This did not happen as recently as 2018.1, and the plugin itself is unchanged, so I suspect the issue is related to the changes they made relating to deleting bars. Though really, I have no idea what is actually going on here.

As a workaround I suggest making a copy of the bar(s) in some empty bars, running the plugin, then copying back what was changed.

I note that Retrograde Pitches does not have this problem but the other Retrogrades do. Copy Double and Copy Halve Note Vales also do nothing - they do not copy to the clipboard.

These all worked in 2018.1.

Thanks Bob, yes, that is what I have ended up doing as an interim measure. Let's hope that it is fixed soon.

This is caused by the bug in 2018.4 where plugins cannot copy to the System Clipboard. Once that gets fixed this and many other plugins should work again.
