This file, which is needed in order to try out the sounds in the Sibelius 7 Sounds library, did not seem to be included in the download zip.

I searched the forum and found this message

It says the file is available at
http://www.sibelius.com/download/documentation/sibelius_7_sounds.html
but that page currently contains only the PDF manual for the sounds.

Can someone tell me where S7S_Library_7.1.2.sib can be downloaded?

If you have an Avid Master Account,it will be there. Choose "My Products and Subscriptions then click on the arrows indicated in the attached image.

Nope, see the attached image.


The Sibelius Sounds file is the whole 23.25GB file and the name is identical to the one I already have downloaded. It did not contain the .sib file, nor did the sounds installer create the file anywhere. I've searched my entire system and it does not show up.

On the page http://www.sibelius.com/download/documentation/sibelius_7_sounds.html
click the grey "Download" button, under "Exploring the Library".

I may be being stupid here, but is it the sound library you want or its manual? The sound library is listed at the bottom of your image as Sibelius Sounds. Not only will it take 'a while' to download, but it will also take 'a long while' to install the sounds. You did Run the file after you downloaded it, didn't you?

Are you using a demo version of Sibelius? Unless they've changed something, the sounds are not included with the trial version.
