Sound id - Manual sound sets
Posted by CyrilP - 06 Jan 09:30AM
Hi,

Someone can explain me clearly how can I use manual.
My configuration is (manual sound sets):
ch 1 -> string.violin
ch2 -> string.violin.legato
ch3 -> string.violin.pizzicato
ch4 -> string.violin.staccato
ch5 -> string.violin.tremolo
(Sound set : none ; Program : unknown)

Watch my image. Above, what I want like sounds, below, what I have !
I tried to add -pizzicato into the dictionary before +legato. It wonderful because the first note of the legato is ok, but after that all is pizzicato :( :(

What is the best way to do something simple and functional ?
I tried to use lot of -pizzicato - tremolo -... but it is not simple for me ... I have to use lot of time "nat" to reset sound id and start again ... but it is confused in my mind

Please, I hope I am enough clear in my description and thank you in advance to spend any times for me ;)

You did not cancel the pizz instruction in the score. To cancel pizz write "nat.".

The order of the Playback dictionary is irrelevant.

Your manual SoundSet does not cope with multiple simultaneous articulation types, so you need to avoid them in the score.
