Sib. 7.5: Piano Duet Conflict Checker
Posted by Malcolm Quiney - 01 Jan 12:58PM
I am arranging a piano duet from a conductor's score. Is there a plugin or technique in Sibelius which will allow me to identify a conflict between the primo and secondo part - i.e. asking two pianist to play the same note at the same time.

I've done a bit of research but can't find a solution. I can't believe I am unique with this problem. Any advice from the Sibelius community gratefully received.

Happy New Year!

You might try the downloadable plugin Remove Duplicate Pitches (category Notes and Rests). The shipping plugin Remove Unison Notes (simplify Notation) is another possibility.
