Sib. 7.1.3: Incorrect part print/export
Posted by mikemedley - 30 Nov 04:10PM
I have a transposing score for wind band. When I attempt to either print or export the parts, I have a few in the score (clarinets, alto sax and trumpets) that show up in concert pitch. This happens in the transposing score and the non-transposing score. How/where can I make the adjustment to print as seen in the score?

TIA!

You need to configure Transposing/Non-transposing independently in each Dynamic Part.

As I have found out to my cost, it is quite easy to accidentally leave a part in concert pitch regardless of whether it is or not in the score. Go through all the parts one at a time and click on the transposing instrument button. It's the only way to make sure you get them all!

Thank you Robin and Mike. I did not realize I could do those things - this is the first time that Sib has gone cray-cray like this in the last 17 years or so I have been using it (since 1.4).

Dynamic parts can be both a blessing and a curse! :-D
