Sibelius Piano Playback sounds off?

My Sibelius is playing the piano back like it has a Ped. Flute attached to it. I uploaded a picture of what I am dealing with. I already closed Sibelius, restarted, etc. It looks like it starts when I have Reaper opened up too, but Reaper is closed and not running. It seems like this is some bug(I've encountered this before), and turning off Reaper and restarting Sibelius-in that order- generally helps. In the picture uploaded, it's just the right hand doing the weird stuff. I even opened a new .Sib piano template and tried to place notes in that one using the keypad tool, and BOTH hands are making that sound. It looks like the file I usually write on is only half broken. Anyone know how to fix this?

For a start, don't share staves between multiple instruments, unless it's for a 'doubling' wind player or similar. That way lies madness and confusion! Add percussion, BD and a pair of piano staves from the outset, use Hide Empty Staves to do what it says it does.

If you attach the sib file rather than a picture of a portion of it, we might be able to discover what's going on, and eliminate Reaper as a possible culprit! (or not).

Also, AutoSave doesn't do what you think. Press Ctrl-S often.

In short, don't treat Sibelius like a sequencer. It isn't one and works under quite a different paradigm

Even on a sequencer, you'd run one track - one patch. Program Change commands died out with hardware synths and only 16 MIDI channels.
