I can't seem to find my customized word menus on my laptop. I have them in the Mac HD location in Application support. In the past, this is where the word menus had to be located, not in the hidden Application support folder (option + click).

Any ideas?

I think you have that the wrong way around. User customisations must be in the User Library, not in the System Library.
