Hi everyone,

is it possible to create a manuscript paper which contains different engraving rules for the score and the parts??

For example I like to have my bar numbers in the score centered in each bar. And in the parts only at the beginning of the system. And some other smaller things...

I know I can change this manually in the parts.

But is it possible to set a fixed manuscript paper (or house style) for this so that I dont have to change this manually every time?

I don't use bar numbers (except for rehearsal marks), but I presume that if it is possible to have a different rule between score and parts, then you should be able to save your edited score as manuscript. Not so sure about style. Have you tried it?

Surely I tried to figure it out myself before asking in the forum (as I always do!).

It is not possible to do set a different bar number alignment for score and parts in the Engraving Rules (centered or left aligned).

BUT (2 ours later!): If you go to parts – you can change a few more thing in part layout. It also seems to be possible to import a seperate house style for the parts. This could be the way to have total control over the part layout...

I will have to check this out this weekend!
