When copying out a score into Sibelius, what is the easiest way to deal with mordents please?

You can add mordents from the Symbols gallery.

Mordent and trill symbols do not play back, though prior to Sib 7.5.1.

Is there no way of making them play back on Sibelius 7.13 then?

In versions of Sibelius lower than 7.5 you can use the plugin "Ornament Playback" to insert MIDI commands in the score to play back certain ornaments.

When it's working again, ribbon tab File -> Plugins. The plugin installer is currently broken server-side at Avid.

Correction: Ornament Playback is a plugin that ships with Sibelius. It is available on tab Play -> Plugins.
