I reformatted my Mac the other day and went to install Sibelius. I went through a bunch of little rabbit trails and realized that I didn't deactivate Sibelius on my previous version. So I used migrant assistant and I'm back on my previous TimeMachine saved version of mac. I deactivated Sib.

I bought an Ed. version about 4 years ago. The issue I'm having is that Avid, for some odd reason, has absolutely no record of my purchase. I have the confirmation email with the Product Code, Activation ID, and System ID. Now, when I go to activate Sib. it shows all sorts of errors and doesn't recognize any of my ID's. Very frustrating. I did both types of installs and the installation guide doesn't recognize the "other computer" installation file.

So I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Avid want me to pay for a help call. I don't see why I should have to pay for anything when I have the licences and the ID's in working order.

Very confused.
