Hello All,

Is it possible to add new instruments into the Sibelius? Such as the tenor recorder?

I am using the flute and just renaming it now.

There are differences between First and the full version of Sibelius. Sounds might be one of them. Not sure. There is a chart on the Avid website. Anyway, the full version lists all the recorders but garklein.

Hi Bob,

Ah, you'd be right. I found the instrument list but it's in some weird file format, a .plg, so I didn't bother to look at it, but I'm sure you are right.

Not to worry, I can fake it with a recorder for the notes in Sibelius and just put the midi file in my DAW and turn the flute into a recorder in there.

Wish I could afford the upgrade to the full version.
