For some reason I don't understand, Sibelus isn't auto Optimizing the staff spacing as shown in the screenshot.
Auto Breaks are set to off and in the Engraving Rules the Staves Justification is set to 50%, so there should be some justification happening, but there isn't. All staves are unlocked. Any suggestions?
The page is overcrowded because Sibelius isn't pushing the staves to the next page, normally this would happen, but not now though, that is the problem. So my question is, why not? During note entering, all the staves stay locked on the page and that is not suppose to happen.
Once any staff has been dragged, it will remember its dragged state, and never again change its spacing automatically. You probably need to:
- Select All;
- Reset Space Above;
- Reset Space Below;
- Optimize

Sibelius 8.6/7.5.1/7.1.3/6.2/5.2.5, PhotoScore Ult 8.0.4, Dolet 6.6 for Sibelius, Windows 10 64-bit 16GB. Desktop no-name, Microsoft Surface Book.
I tried that, but it doesn't make a difference.
This is the result of select all, unlock all (just incase), - Select All; - Reset Space Above; - Reset Space Below;
- Optimize
On this forum, the maximum size of an attachment is 1 MByte. If your score file is larger than that, then it is probably bloated with internal versions. So export the current version to a stand-alone score file, and attach that.

That did the trick, thanks, Robin. Not sure why they had set it like this, I saw this problem with all the templates they send me during the last couple of months. Maybe it's easier for them to edit the layout later on? I only do the engraving.
