Hi I just updated to the newest version from Sib 6. When I would add the "Z"to a stem in 6 it would play back like a buzz roll and now in 8, it sounds like it has a single diddle attached to the stem. How do I get a buzz roll sound in my files?

I don't know why your roll doesn't work. Unless not all the sounds got installed.
In any event, I've never liked the buzz roll sound, so I've never used the symbol or the sound for a roll. I use one of the other multi-slashed stems depending on the speed of the piece for a much more natural sounding roll. I know the buzz symbol should be used, but drummers had no problem reading the music when I forgot to change the symbol in the music I gave them
