Hello and I have upgraded to 8 and use the "Rumble" sounds. They sound fine for the time being but the bass drum sound is so low that I have to turn down all of the woodwinds, brass, keyboards, and electronics on the mixer below 30 and turn the bass drum all of the way up to balance the sounds with the battery and the winds. I have also gone into "edit parts" and turned it all the way up to 127 and it does not make a difference.

Any thoughts?

Again, please attach a Sibelius .sib score file which demonstrates the issue.

Please attach a screen-shot of the "Playback Devices" dialogue screen of Sibelius.

here is the sib file. On this I have everything turned down on the mixer and the bass drum up all the way and not very balanced.

Thanks for any help on both of my issues.

I agree: it seems difficult to balance the level of these Marching Drums with that of the rest of the orchestra.

May I point out that, for the Bass Marching Drum, the score contains in bar 33, a cross notehead with no articulation, for which combination no sound definition appears in the Drum Map, and so the note is silent.
