Please welcome Ingrid!
Posted by Sam at Sibelius - 13 Jul 01:02PM
Hi All,

Please join me in welcoming Ingrid Guce to the Sibelius forum. Ingrid works out of our Manila, Philippines office alongside the Sibelius Support and Webstore teams. She has a good amount of troubleshooting knowledge when it comes to problems you may have on the webstore, activate/deactivating your licenses, subscriptions, upgrade plans and general support for Sibelius and Sibelius First as well. She’s new (ish) to the team though, so please take it easy as she gets up to speed. Ingrid has replaced Vee's position, and we’re very happy to have her on board.

Ingrid is a violinist, a violin teacher and a keen Sibelius user. Please feel free to contact her directly with more specific licensing questions, and she’ll pass you on to the right team. She isn’t a substitute for the main support team though, so please still contact them using the links in my signature below.

Please give a warm welcome to Ingrid!

Someone from the Phillipines gave me some remote help earlier this year. Could it have been you Ingrid? Welcome to our tech support chat pages.

Howdy Ingrid,

I have had a remote access session with Manilla earlier in the year, before you joined.

I hope all goes well for you.

Welcome, Ingrid. I'm afraid you will be in for a tough time. I suggest that you might start by reading all the posts from Tony's "Uncle Tom Cobley" thread, both the withdrawn one and current follow up. You will soon discover that there a lot of unhappy users on this forum.

Adrian, I think that's a bit rough. Ingrid doesn't deserve to feel our frustration, genuine though it is, at this point. I'm sure she is, like Sam and the rest of the Avid people we see here from time to time, keen, well-qualified and well-intentioned.

Let her draw her own conclusions about how things are.

For what it's worth, Ingrid, welcome from me!

Welcome, Ingrid!

Indeed, it only appears to be a small handful of people doing the complainin'. If you filter that out, it's not too bad around here.

Chris & Russel. I'm just trying to warn Ingrid of what she might encounter and wish her the best of luck in the difficult job she has to do to put our minds at rest over the future of what used to be the best music composing & engraving tool available. I wish her no malice whatsoever and apologize if my message sounded that way. Welcome again, Ingrid. I look forward to seeing improved customer confidence in Sibelius again. At the moment, it is rock bottom and Avid needs to realize this.

Hi,

Gee, now that's a bit harsh! Or is it meant as a joke?

I have not read Sam's thread as yet so maybe I am missing something.
