Chord frames

Since 8.6 stepping through Chord frame alternatives (keystrokes or rubber band action) isn't working anymore. It shows one alternative and than nothing

Please describe in more detail the steps required to reproduce this problem. List every key-press and every mouse-click, and identify which dialogue window is being worked with. How do the observed effects differ from the expected/desired outcome?

Also, I have not understood what you mean by "rubber band action".

Albert, am I correct in interpreting your first post to mean:

The Sibelius feature "Revoice Chord Diagram" is not functional, and makes no changes?

I can confirm it on Windows. Seems completely broken. Doesn't work with shortcut (strg+shift+alt+k), nor Ribbon nor context menu.

I've stayed with a more reliable version, but a colleague of mine just installed 8.6, and he has the same problem. Maybe he likes to pay for the bugs, as well as paying for the bug-fixes that come with more new bugs.

Hasn't anybody at Avid ever heard of regression testing?

Avid's success story since 7.1.3:

Dual selection and alt-klik of double barline & rehearsal mark. BROKEN.
Swing function on playback. BROKEN.
Blue mouse pointer to indicate note input. BROKEN.
Chord frames. BROKEN.
What else?

There is probably more. That's why I'm still using 7.1.3 after giving up on 8.5.1 & 8.6. And this is costing me £85.00 a year!

Hi Robin,
you are right. Revoice Chord Diagram is not functional anymore
