Sib. 7.1: Sibelius inconsistent layout
Posted by pianomaniac14 - 25 May 02:53AM
Hi, I'm trying to quickly finish a score involving choir, piano, violin, and cello. Sibelius seems to be doing really weird things with the layout where it's putting only one system at the top of some pages and nothing on the bottom, while on others it puts multiple systems. I've been playing around with the staff size and optimizing layout and nothing seems to work. I'm trying to balance between having and even number of staves per page and good legibility. The file is attached.

Thanks,
Jeremy

You have a page break at measure 92. Turn it into a system break (select double barline and hit return key). To fill the page goto Appearance/EngravingRules/Staves and justify staves when 50% full. And I notice you have a lot of empty staves. You might want to hide these (Layout/Hiding).
