When I put a tempo (e.g. crotchet=100) setting, either to set up a new score or adding it later, it works for the first bar only and then reverts to some other tempo - in the the file I've added, it reverts to about 65 whereas I set it to 100.
What am I doing wrong?

Somehow the text starting with "This Version..." changes the playback even though it shouldn’t. The workaround I have found is to copy the metronome mark to bar 2 and then hide it (cntrl+shift+h). Afterwards the playback works as it should. Maybe someone else has a better solution...

Sibelius is reacting to the word Ballad in the plain text. If you untick its play on pass property this no longer happens.
