I recently had some problems with the USB ports of my MacBook Pro Logic. After plugging in a peripheral device (CD player) I recieved the message "Unplug the USB device that is using too much power". I did so, but the two other devices, my midi keyboard and my printer would not work. I have regained the use of them by updating the driver software, but problems persist, especially with Sibelius. I did an SMC reset.

I am now using Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver V1.9.10, but when I unplug the USB socket to move the laptop and then return to plug it in again, it ceases to recognize it and I have to reinstall the software and restart the computer! I have also lost the use of my Kontakt player files. I cannot find them when trying to set up a new sound set, but they are still on the computer.
