Pls see attachment for the message thats received when you email Vee. I also followed up with Vicky Moreno, asking about Vee, and alos while I was at it, Sam and Joe.

I sincerely hope Vee isnt gone--to me he really was one of the few GOOD things about AVID...

Yep, unfortunately Vee left us….Sam and Joe are still with Sibelius and Avid, we’ve just all been a bit quiet between the Messe show and Easter. Cosmin will be filling in for Vee temporarily, Sam will be introducing him on the forum soon. Hated to lose Vee, but he’s a smart young guy and had to follow his passion, which was more on the marketing side.

I've just got one as well.

But since Avid don't have much of a track record of doing ANYTHING right these days, calling it "bizarre" seems a bit strong.

Why is "a bit quiet" any different from usual?

Or are they quiet because of what (didn't) happen at the Messe... there only seemed to be one presentation (about a "latest generation product" that was actually launched in 2015...)

If they managed to get a sneak preview of the next Dorico update, that might have left them even more silent than usual, of course.

He is still a member here, so you may see him pop up from time to time. It has been reported that Dorico was also far from prominent on the Steinberg stall.
