Good morning, all.

Is there a way to choose where the instrument name appears in the dynamic part?

It's getting in the way the names of sections etc.

You can configure the default position of any Text Object by re-defining the appropriate Text Style:

Text -> Styles -> dialog launcher button -> Edit Text Styles.

If you have the Part Name selected when you perform the above, the appropriate Text Style will be selected when you get to the Edit Text Styles dialog.
