I frequently find I need to manually move an item on the page - typically, the title of a piece in a collection which starts half way down a page - and the item then turns orange, which I find quite difficult to read. Is there any way to turn this off?

It sounds like you are adjusting the title in a part, because the orange colour arises when there is a change made to something's position within a part which will not be reflected in the full score.

Uncheck 'Differences in Parts' on the 'View' menu to make this behaviour go away.

Thanks, Steve. Had a look at this, and "Differences in parts" wasn't checked, and things are still turning orange! However, I tried it the other way round - checked "Differences in parts" - and that seems to have solved the problem.
