I have a piano grand staff, with voices 1 and 2 in the treble staff. I want hairpins for voice 1 above the treble staff, and hairpins for voice 2 below the treble staff. Sibelius wants them both below the treble staff. Of course, I can manually move them, but is there a way to get voice 1 hairpins to go above the staff, adn voice 2 hairpins below the staff, without the rigmarole?

Define new categories of Line, based on the hairpins, with different default positions.

Hi

You'll also want to find some straightforward way of entering the right kind of hairpin: this will probably involve setting up new keyboard shortcuts for your new 'above-the-staff' hairpins, and remembering to use them.
