Sibelius 6 Reference Manual page 127 reads "cannot ... create grace notes at the very end of a bar". Is there a way that I can create such grace notes at the end of a bar, to be performed before the first beat of the next bar, e.g: 'The Thunderer' march by Sousa, bar 5. Thanks.

You could write them as cue size voice 3 notes with hidden rests.

Thanks for the response Adrian. What you suggested worked, and no rests showed up to hide, but unfortunately on playback these acciaccaturas were not heard.

If you select a note, then press / (slash) or . (period) then input a note, you get a gracenote with or without slash. The grace notes are 8th notes by default but you can change the value from keypad before inputting note.
These shortcuts were in the first Sibelius but are no longer documented.
