Multiple windows - separate focus etc?
Posted by PhilShaw - 28 Nov 12:00AM

I'm trying to work on one set of staves in one window,
while referencing a different set of staves in the other one, and (1) I seem to have to have all bars visible in both windows, plus (2) when I playback in one window, the other window positions to the same bar and follows along.

So, is there any way to focus on different sets of staves in different windows?

Is there any way to have Playback only follow the bars in the active window, instead of in all windows?

Thanks.

You could save a copy of the score under a different name and open it in its own window. You'd have to be careful to keep track of which copy was being edited.

Thanks. I should have thought of that. It will do what I want.

I posted this question a second time because (for some reason) I didn't see it on the forum and thought I hadn't clicked SEND. Sorry about that.
