Since updating to Sibelius 8.4, all of my keyboard shortcuts that combine Command with Option are now not working, and it is really slowing my flow down. I have LOTS of keyboard shortcuts with this combination.
For instance:
Command+Option+N = filter notes and chords, but now it opens the startup menu
Command+Option+C = filter chord symbols, but nothing happens
Command+Option+S = filter slurs, but now it saves the document
In other words, it's doing the shortcut as if I was only using Command+something.

I upgraded to Sierra. That would definitely make sense.

From the above description, one can conclude that the option key is not working in these combinations and what you are getting are the shortcuts as if only the command button and letter are down.
I tried the above on Sib 6.2 and Mac OS Sierra and they worked, although in Sib 6.2 they do other things. For example, command-option N toggles the Navigator window. So all is well in Sib 6.2 and Sierra. Problem is apparently with Sib 7 and later.
