Hi. How would I add a percussion staff to an existing (2 staff) piano score? I can't seem to get it to work. Thanks! Kelly Johnson

It must be an unpitched percussion staff to work properly, though I have used pitched Melodic Toms or Woodblock (pitched) occasionally.

Press 'I' choose a percussion staff and click Add?

So, now that I'm back home . . . to help people get a handle on percussion staff writing I made this Sibelius chart a while ago. If follows the PAS standard for drum set notation, which is also attached as a PDF.

The Sib score most be opened with an appropriate sound set such as Sibelius Sounds.

As I said I made this to help others, but I do not use sound sets as I play sounds out of my Casio piano, so if this helps, let us know :-)
