A few years ago my husband bought and downloaded Sib 7 for me (I have updated to 7.1.) I now wish to install it on a laptop. How do I do that?

All help appreciated - in easy-to-understand English please (as opposed to lots of tech talk:) )

Hi Lucy:

You or your husband should have an Avid account where you find and download Sibelius.

After downloading (it's roughly 40 GB, including the sounds, so it'll take a while) install it, and activate using the licensing information you can find in your Avid account, and you should be good to go. You can have Sibelius on two computers simultaneously.

It seems to have installed correctly thank you.
However I read somewhere that the 2 cannot be used at the same time. I have one copy on my home computer and one on my laptop at work - If, for example I leave the program running at home while I am at work, does it mean I won't be able to save it?

The licence permits simultaneous activation of a single purchase of Sibelius on TWO computers belonging to the same person.
