Hi,

I have made some templates in Sibelius 6. Is it possible to transfer these to Sibelius 8? All I see now is the General MIDI (basic) tab.

Need some more info, Arnold. What is your OS?
1. Are these 'templates' saved as manuscript papers, or maybe
2. house styles? Are they
3. files that you load as a starter to a score?

If 1: Open them using sib 8 directly from the loaction where they are saved (If they are your own, they will be in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Sibelius\Manuscript Paper - on Windows)

If 2: These will be stored at C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Sibelius\House Styles. Import into a score. There will still be some differences because Sib 7 made some major changes to layout settings and so on.

If 3: They will be stored wherever you stored them. Open them in Sib 8 and save with a different filename because they will be converted into Sib 8 files which are not backwards compatible. If you have kept your sib 6 this is worthwhile.
