Can't read the item because those @&@&@ items on the left prevent selecting the word "downtime". Just like they prevent Search.

I'm certainly did not find your post inconvenient. I was just pointing out the reason I posted in the first place. I'm annoyed by the fact that on an iPad I can't get at that post and, more importantly, can't Search Forum from my iPad which is the real problem.

That wrapper for the forum page is a messy nuisance. But on this Android tablet it isn't a showstopper, particularly if I rotate to landscape mode. Has the iPad got special problems with it?

Landscape mode makes no difference on the iPad. You still can't activate Search Forum.

On the iPad, landscape mode still doesn't help. Still can't click or touch the Search Forum item.

Oh I wouldn't blame the iPad for not coping well with bad site design.
I could use my main computer but the iPad is so much more convenient on the patio.
