Playback bug
Posted by Adrian Drover - 24 Jul 10:42AM
I don't think I've ever encountered this before. In the attached, the hidden impro solo in voice 2 is doing something strange on the first beat of the B7 measure, namely two notes are sounding simultaneously. I've narrowed it down to the tied note from the F#m7 measure. I can cure this by selecting the first voice 1 rhythm slash in the B7 measure and killing play on pass. But rhythm slashes are not supposed to play anyway, so what is happening?

PS, this is not new to v.8 as I have exported it and loaded it into v.7 and get the same result.

I can't reproduce any playback problem here. What playback configuration are you using?

Yes, the slash seems to be making the tied note re-trigger. Swapping the voices cures it, as does your trick of turning off playback for the slash.
