Sib. 7.5: New section with showing empty staves

I have a score where I want to show nearly all the staves as a new section beginning.
How do I do that. I mean something as the first page of a score with all the instruments show up while there isn´t any music in it.

In the previous sections I have hide emty staves on and in following sections also.

On the final bar of the previous section, use the Inspector to configure "Section End"

Yes I know that, but I cannot do a CTRL-A en hide empty staves in the end of the work.

I wanted to control that by inserting at the beginning of the new section hidden notes or objects so as to control wich staves are hidden and wich ones are seen in the score..

Is that possible too? It didn't work with hidden note-entrys...

Add a few empty bars (cmd+B or ctrl+B one press for each added bar). Make sure these bars appear on a new pages. Select those bars only. Go to layout: show empty staves: select the instruments that you want to appear.

If the music for the new section has already been written, you can hide or show empty staves on a page by page or system by system basis. You don't have to do it throughout the score.

Similarly, as Ian Says, Create new bars for the first full system of the new section (it will be created in all instruments) and use Show Empty Bars to switch this on.

Hide/Show Empty... acts on any selected passage. It doesn't have to be preceded by a Select All.
