You can play notes by using the arrow keys and moving back and forth. Is there any way to play multiple parts in this fashion?

Finale has a feature they call 'keyboard washing' which allows you to move your cursor back and forth and it plays whatever is under the vertical bar cursor. This is extremely helpful for composing music since you can move back and forth between chords and hear exactly how they sound. You can go as quickly or slowly as you like and can move back and forth as much as you like.

Does Sibelius have a similar feature? I keep an old version of Finale around just to use this feature, and I'm tempted to switch back to Finale because it is so useful. I would think that Sibelius would have a similar feature, but if it exists, I can't find it.

I think what you are after is called Scrubbing!

Sibelius doesn't have this feature (unless there's a plugin for it, but you can use the slider on the transport panel to change the tempo to play back slowly.

Thanks very much. I recall now that 'Scrubbing' is the correct term.
Any idea how we can request this feature in Sibelius? It is one of my favorite features in Finale.
