While I'm enjoying Sibelius 8, there are some frustrating things, and I'm wondering if there are some funky settings on my end, or if there are bugs.
something very simple: highlight a group of notes, hit S-

used to the slur would just appear. now, my arrow now turns blue and i have to click to get the slur, but it is not attached to anything, and it is the wrong way, and i have to manually draw it? wha??? when i want to slur one note, no problem... but more than one? not working...
help?!

Maybe someone here can help you determine if you have a bug or not.

In the mean time, can you highlight the first note of the group only, hit S, and then the space bar if you need it to cover more than two notes?

Check the setting in File/ Preferences / Mouse as indicated in my attachment. I think yours is set to "Click the mouse..."

Nice work from Laurence here. I think he has it.
Have just tried slurring over a group of notes and behaviour is as expected. In preferences, I have selected "It appears near the current selection".
