Trace MIDI Messages is available for free download at http://www.sibelius.com/download/plugins/index.html?plugin=539 and can be installed form category Text.

For use with Sibelius 5, Sibelius 6, Sibelius 7.1, Sibelius 7.5 and Sibelius 8.x

Writes the text and score location of selected MIDI messages (that start with ~) to the plugin trace window. For Note on (~N) and Note Off (~O) messages, it also translated pitch numbers to note names.

This can be useful when you have a "cloud" of MIDI messages, as when you use the Harp Gliss or Cresc/Dim plugins. You usually just see a mess, and this way you can see what the messages say, and the order in which they appear.

As a bonus, of there are ~O or ~N (Note Off/On) messages, the plugin will translate the numbers into pitch names.
