My external hard drive is dying, going to get an external SSD. What's the best way to move the sounds library? I do have the discs from Sib 7. Do I just install into the new drive and point Sibelius there? Thanks.

Given that your existing external hard drive is unwell, it would probably be just as quick to re-install the entire library onto the new external SSD from the DVD-ROM installers: there are FOUR sounds installers, one on each of four DVD-ROM disks.

Before you next launch Sibelius, detach the old hard disk, and restart Windows. Then launch Sibelius. If it cannot find the Sibelius 7 Sounds sample library, it will put up a dialogue asking you to locate the "Sibelius 7 Sounds" folder. Just do that.
