Downloaded a sib file with choir... soprano line is doubled by piano sound. Why? How to eliminate it?

Probably need to see the Sib file.
Are you using Sib 7 sounds?

Posters frequently mention on this forum that they do not like the choral sounds, and often add a piano (or, more often, a woodwind) in the mixer to focus the sound a bit.

You could turn the Piano down in the mixer, or type tacet or silence on the piano stave.
