That's a new feature in the updated forum. They no longer flood us with emails. But they *do* give us links to Avid web pages. To Avid, that is progress.

I've just clicked on Settings at the top of the forum main list and turned on emails. The first few have already come through.

I don't want them, so I'll turn it off again. But the feature is working. Proof attached.

Not for me, I've always kept my settings at:
"No, I'd prefer to read this group on the web site or via my news client."
. . . and clicked each individual post to be emailed and that's not working.

I believe if you push:
"Yes, please send all messages via email (to your email)."
in settings you get ALL emails from this forum?

Just a thought Richie - have you checked your spam folder recently? It would not be surprising if Avid emails landed on a spam list for one reason or another. I found a few unsolicited ones in spam some weeks back.

Thx Steve,

Since I changed my email address a year or so ago, I get only 1 to 3 spam emails a day. A couple I actually like to keep, and I have a program that sends them to Spam since they are ads or a discount for my salsa social, etc.

They're not there and I've not been receiving emails for checked posts in a couple of weeks.

A mild inconvenience and I'm happy to hear it's not just me (not in a spiteful way . . . but just to know I'm not nuts :-)
