frequently, hitting P for play causes a delay while the sounds are loaded. why does this happen? There had been no change in the sounds since previously playing a selection. This will sometimes happen a few times during a 20 minute total time.

What can I do to avoid these delays?

If you are using sib 7.5 sounds there's not a lot you can do. It is what it is.

What is your computer spec?
How much RAM
Where are the samples stored - SSD or Hard Disk?
Laptop or desktop?

Hi slide,

Hold down your Windows Key and press Pause (Break), releasing both and up pops the System properties window.
