I am trying to reload Sib 6.2 on my Windows 10 (just because I have it and want to keep it), but it goes no further than the startup screen and the music. I have run the program in compatibility mode for Windows 7. Ideas?

Please ensure that what you have installed is in fact Sibelius 6.2. Versions of Sibelius 6.x earlier than 6.2 will not work. If you have installed an earlier version of Sibelius 6.x, please update the installation to version 6.2 before trying to launch Sibelius for the first time.

You might also have difficulties activating Sibelius 6.x on Windows 10: you need to use the web-based activation method, rather than the built-in one. You will need the assistance of Sibelius Registration Support, as your Sibelius 6 serial number will no longer work for Sibelius 6 if you have used that serial number to upgrade another computer to Sibelius 7 or later.
