When I copy part layout from one part to another, certain things don't seem to copy over:

indent first stave
moved title text object
multimeasure rest bar width
margin settings

Are there any ways to include these items which I'm somehow missing?

I don't think so. I wish for these things too. Reset note spacing in all parts globally would be good too, but then multi-bar rests would revert back to factory setting again. You just can't win ;-)

When you use 'Copy Part Layout' it copies the default settings of the source part not any manual tweaks you have made.

Change the margins in the 'Document Setup'

Change the Title Position in 'Edit Text Style' -vertical/horiziontal position.

You can't set the multimeasure bar width as it's dragged not set as a default. If it occupies a whole system then it's part of the layout and will be copied.

Indent - don't use it but it should have a default setting.

Save, then use copy part layout

A lot of manual tweaking is carried tho', Roy, such as system/page breaks and repositioned rehearsal marks.

System breaks and page breaks do copy using - 'copy part layout'

Rehearsal marks have always been a problem, but if you can find a default position that works it will transfer using 'copy part layout'

Even when I've changed the margins in Doc Setup, it frequently doesn't seem to carry over once the parts have already been created.

Indent weirdly doesn't seem to be part of House Style settings, so I have to set it manually each time.

The real issue for me is multimeasure rests not carrying over -- and there doesn't seem to be a workaround for it...

I'm not sure what you mean by multi-measure rest being carried. Do you mean the edited width, or that the part is showing single measure rests? If the latter goto Layout/Breaks/Show multirests.

No, there is no workaround. You just have to drag the bar-line (or Alt/Shift/arrow or Alt/Shift/Ctrl/arrow). I just drag them, it's quicker.
