I'm sorry, Mrs Sibelius, but WHERE to find "activation ID"?
I use Sibelius since version 1.2, but never I was bored with all these numbers (system ID, activation ID, order ID,
SKU-ID...) I don't want to spend my whole life to register myself, please offer us something easy to buy...

Hi Claude,

Sorry for the confusion :(

I'll walk you through it:

1) Log into your Avid Products and Subscriptions page: https://www.avid.com/subscriptions using your email address

2) Click on the purple bar where it says "Sibelius"

You should see your System ID

3) Click on where it says "Show" (next to "Product Details and Download Links")

You should see your Activation ID and your installers --

Sibelius 8.1.0 Installer (Mac) 869.93 MB OR
Sibelius 8.1.0 Installer (Win) 851.84 MB

ACTIVATION:

Please choose activate when you open Sibelius.
Enter your Avid Account Login information under Account tab.
Then go to the Licensing Tab, choose "online" then enter your
System and Activation ID and click activate.

If you are having problems activating that way please try the following steps below:

Close Sibelius (or any other Avid products such as Pro Tools, etc.)

(for Mac)
- On your finder toolbar, go to Spotlight search (or click Command+Space Bar) and type in "AvidApplicationManager"

(for Windows)
- Click Start button (keyboard shortcut: Window key)
- Type "AvidApplicationManager" on the search box
- Select "AvidApplicationManager"

**if you are unable to open it you can see it on the bottom right part on the task bar (Windows) or the upper right side of the task bar (Mac), double click on it. The icon looks like a purple circle with a dot in the middle.

- Under "Account" tab - Login using your My Avid Account login details
- Then go to "Licensing" tab
- Select activation method: Option 1 (Online)

- Option 1: Enter SystemID ########### and ActivationID: SBBC-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

At this point, your license should be successfully activated.

Ok I found it... Why not highlight it? Or write it beneath the system ID? Or in the mail of confirmation of purchase?
Each ID is located in a different place and the first thing interesting the customer is to be able to register without excavating the whole world, no?

Er, isn't the Activation ID right next to the System ID, at the top of the page where you downloaded the installation files? See attached screenshot.
